With the beautiful medieval city of Siena as your classroom, delve into Italy's rich artistic tradition. Take art history, studio art, Italian cinema, Italian literature and more. Travel to Sicily and Rome as a part of your Italian Cultural History course. This program is perfect for serious students looking for an alternative to many of the larger programs in Italy. There is no language prerequisite for this program.

Intensive Language & Cultural Studies in Catania, Sicily
Immerse yourself in Italian language and see a side of Italian life that most tourists never see. Language practica take language learning outside the walls of the classroom. A Traveling Seminar takes you around Sicily and Rome as a part of your History and Culture of Sicily course. Open to students with at least two semesters of Italian language, this program is for students seeking an off-the-beaten-track Italian experience.

Art History & Italian Studies in Florence
Deepen your understanding of Italian society by studying Italian art, language, history and politics at this multi-faceted program in Florence. The program, jointly administered by Vanderbilt University and CET, integrates students into Italian culture through Italian housemates and traveling seminars to Rome and other cities in Tuscany. There is no language prerequisite to this program.
