Program Description:

Vanderbilt in Florence Program

A jointly operated academic program in the heart of Tuscany

Florence - batistryThe Vanderbilt University in Florence program offers students the opportunity to immerse themselves in Italian culture and language, and deepen their understanding of Italian society through the study of art history, economics, political science and literature. A variety of challenging courses takes students out of the classroom and into the streets and museums of Florence and surrounding cities.

This program is jointly administered by CET Academic Programs, Vanderbilt University and the University of Florence, and is open to students from all institutions. There is no language prerequisite.

Application deadlines for all Vanderbilt students are earlier than those for other students. Vanderbilt students should visit the Vanderbilt University's Global Education Office Website for details.
