Program Description:

Vietnamese Studies & Service-Learning in Ho Chi Minh City

CET Vietnam immersionThis program gives you a window out-of-reach to most of Vietnam's other visitors. Area studies classes like Environmental Sustainability in Vietnam touch on every facet of Vietnamese society. Language classes help you engage with the people around you, like your Vietnamese roommate. Through your service-learning placement, you might volunteer at an orphanage or school, work with disabled people, or contribute to one of the many international NGO's at your doorstep.

CET Vietnam's summer program is Summer Service in Rural Vietnam. This nine-week program takes you to rural Vietnam. You work alongside Vietnamese peers on community projects like building a house for a needy villager or teaching at a local elementary school.
